DS Audio has received the highest evaluation in a blind listening test held at the Dutch high-end audio specialist HiFi VEstudio, outperforming multiple analog playback systems.

At HiFi VEstudio, a large-scale listening session was organized with leading figures from the Dutch audio industry, culminating in an extensive blind test conducted over the course of an entire day.
During the test, brand names and playback methods were concealed, and multiple analog systems were compared under identical listening conditions. All evaluations were carried out by an external, independent third-party panel.

As a result, the DS Audio optical cartridge system received the highest rating at approximately five times the frequency of a conventionally regarded, equivalent traditional analog system.
In the final tally, the independent panel recorded 48 votes in favor of DS Audio versus 11 votes for the traditional system, demonstrating a clear and measurable difference in evaluation. DS Audio was particularly praised for its transparency, level of detail, and musicality.

The test was conducted with sound quality as the sole evaluation criterion, eliminating brand recognition and preconceived preferences.
These results highlight how DS Audio’s optical signal detection technology and its long-standing pursuit of distortion-free analog reproduction translate directly into a superior listening experience.
