The DS Audio Mono series cartridges are specifically designed for mono records, utilizing a suspension system that detects only lateral (left-right) stylus movements.
Unlike stereo records, which encode audio through both lateral and vertical groove modulations, mono records use only lateral movements to convey audio information.
By detecting only these lateral signals with high precision, the Mono cartridges eliminate unnecessary components and allow the unique sonic characteristics of mono records—such as clarity, impact, and tonal richness—to be faithfully reproduced.

Solid Brass Base for Rich and Powerful Sound
Each Mono series cartridge features a precision-machined solid brass base, carefully selected for its acoustic properties.
